Quantus

The Brief

Quantus was a final group project I did with a team of 9 other students while attending Seneca College.  The goal of the assignment was to design a self-contained living, breathing interior environment and bring it to life from pencil sketches and concepts all the into the Unreal engine. 

My Role

On Quantus every member of the team was responsible for visual elements, animations, concept design, and effects. I was responsible for the Alien Bar tender character and several environmental assets including futuristic doors, light switches, and a futuristic hookah lamp.

Challenges

For this project, we were to work in a studio-like environment and work as a team to achieve the final product.  The main challenge of this project, it being one of my first bigger projects at the time, was coordinating with teammates to meet deadlines, understanding where we needed more attention, supporting fellow team members, and in the end, creating an environment that fits together seamlessly while having 9 different artists developing the project.
