Harley Davidson

The Brief

Harley Davidson Rider App was a project I worked on for a team developing the future of Harley Davidson's digital footprint. Harley Davidson was experiencing a difficult time connecting their user base together as most HD rider clubs were created through the individual deal ships. The goal was to unite these clubs and create a digital experience to bring the riding community together, interacting more and above all else riding more. The project was then presented to the heads of Harley Davidson, approved, and is currently in development. I worked with an outsourced team to develop the early designs of the project.

Challenges

One of the bigger challenges while working on the HD Rider app was taking the collected data from the different HD communities all over the world and filtering it down to the most important needs to create a uniform application that every region could take advantage of and benefit from.

My Role

With Harley Davidson I was contracted to develop the early designs for the rider focused mobile/web-based app with the goal of bringing the HD community together, interacting more, and riding more. With the gathered data from the HD communities all over the world, I worked on strategy and how to take the collected needs of each region and filter it down to a realistic and easily accessible app. I developed mock-ups and wire-frames, built prototypes, designed presentation decks, and illustrated story boards to help express the journey of the user.
